Newborn Session | San Francisco

I've had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful family since they decided to tie the knot, photographing their engagement, wedding, and even Ray's dental practice.  I couldn't wait to get pictures of their newest handsome fella.  Colin was ready for his first modeling gig, and Puri the puppy got into the action as well.  I'm excited to keep up with Ray and Jane as their family grows.

This lovely family is here this weekend for a wedding in Sonoma and decided to get some family photos done - I mean, how often do you get everyone in one place at the same time?!? I love that beautiful Sonoma light and the relaxed feel of these photos. Oh yea, I kinda love this family too.

Family Portraits for Spring!

Ahhh Spring...  The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and the flowers are blooming.  So are the munchkins.  Yesterday I had fun hanging out with my triathlon coach and his family (and a bunch of their friends) creating spring-time portraits.  The kids had fun hamming it up for the camera - especially when the bubbles came out!

The Neuhaus Family | Portraits of the little ladies

This week we were privileged to do a portrait session with the Neuhaus Family.  Last October we photographed the family with their newest addition, sweet Josie, as a newborn. It is now almost six months later... and look at this pretty little babe.  Her sister Leah is growing up fast as well.  Tammy and Issac have a gorgeous home that is so easy to photograph such beautiful girls.

Congratulations to my friend's Meg and Nick on their firstborn child, Katherine Margaret, who joined this world last November.  I am so excited for my bestie, Meg, who added a beautiful baby girl to our group of ladies. I am also happy to have my running partner back in her shoes to continue our marathon training together.  Most importantly, I can't wait to photograph the whole family together soon!

Family Photos | Heather Farms

This extended family portrait session was filled with multi-generations who flew in from all over the country for the holidays.  We wandered over to the local park here in Walnut Creek, Heather Farms, and were blessed with gorgeous late fall foliage.  Boy do we love fall in the Bay area!
The Borneo's did a great job getting close with genuine smiles and love for each other. Here is a taste of what we captured...

       

Tammi and Mike are getting next August at Villa Montalvo which is one of my FAVORITE venues!  I've always loved shooting here, and think this is the most awesome place to get married! 

I really love doing an engagement session before the wedding  -- it's a great way to get to know my clients better, and get ready for the wedding day!  I'm super excited to photograph them again, and we had so much fun together, laughing the whole time.  Congratulations, you two!

Family Beach Portraits at Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay

I photographed mom and dad's wedding in 2001, and it's been so fun keeping up with their growing family ever since then!  One of the awesome benefits of being a wedding photographer is that I get to stay involved with my clients past the wedding day, photographing many memorable moments as a growing family.  The Maletis family now have three gorgeous children, and we took some time to hang out together at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay to capture these images.  You can really see the love in this family, and their children are adorable.
