Detail-filled Wedding | Kohl Mansion

While Elena and David both knew they wanted a beautiful and classic affair, they also wanted to add a touch of irreverence and a large dash of color and let-your-hair-down-good-times into their big day.  Elena is a trained pastry chef and a stellar at-home chef, so the bar was high.

After vows were exchanged in a beautiful, light-filled dining room, guests made their way outside for cocktails and light bites.

Guests plucked their paper airplane place cards against a custom chalkboard backdrop and homemade chocolate truffles made by a friend served as favors, along with jordan almonds from the bride's Greek heritage.

After moving indoors for their romantic first dance played by Sinister Dexter, a ten piece funk and soul band, guests were encouraged to dance to make room for their sugar rush bar.
