Julie Atwood is the magician behind the magic of events at her working ranch in Glen Ellen, Sonoma, and customizes uniqueness from weddings to charitable functions. Her charity events are one of the reasons why we love this ranch, they give back to the community and support the North Bay community. Since 1998, Julie Atwood Events has helped generated over 12 million dollars for local organizations. Julie is also an active part in the Valley of the Moon Children's Home, an emergency shelter for abused and abandoned kids. They also donate to a variety of other organizations that are too many to list. Amazing right?
In addition to creating fabulous events, this it also a working ranch. They focus on breeding large animals, giving nesting areas for birds, supporting naturally raised steelhead trout, and growing grapes for wine.
Tish Ward is the winemaker/viticulturist who focuses on sustainable cultivation, and uses compost directly from the ranch horses and cattle.
