The ceremony was rich in traditions, including the time-honored Armenian ritual of crowning the newlyweds. After the ceremony, guests ditched their black tie finery for cocktail-ready duds, and the wedding party made its way to the Fairmont San Francisco's garden terrace. As dinner began in the Fairmont's Gold Room, both fathers gave loving speeches amid the lush white flowers and mirrored walls. While family and friends dined, a traditional Armenian dance troupe entertained the guests with five folk dances. Then it was the bride and groom's turn on the dancefloor, and they followed the first dance with many more to Armenian and American hits.
